## Scope Change Gadget for Jira Releases

> ℹ️ **Edition:** Standard

The **Scope Change gadget** tracks how a release's scope shifts over time — which issues were **added** to a version or package and which were **removed** during a given period. Scope creep is a leading cause of missed release dates, so surfacing it on a dashboard makes it manageable instead of invisible.

Open any issue in the Issue Navigator for details. *(Available for fixVersions only — not Virtual versions.)*

## ⚙️ Configuration

| **Setting** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| Board | The release board. |
| Package / Version | What to track scope change for. |
| Report Interval | A predefined interval or a custom date range. |
| Include sub-tasks | Whether sub-tasks count. |
| Issue types | Filter which types are shown. |
| Estimation | The point measure used to show the impact of the change. |
| Show items | Issues per page in each category. |
| Description | Free text context. |
| Auto refresh | Refresh automatically. |
